The Paw Print Student Newspaper is student run and is comprised of a core group of staff members and writers who participate in producing monthly editions. The audience is primarily the student body but also includes faculty, staff, and visitors. The Paw Print is available in any of the academic buildings on campus and typically includes university news, student opinions, or the effect of global events on Saint Francis students.

Kayla Reed – Editor
Kayla is Junior double majoring in Legal Studies and Political Science. With a passion for writing, she has experience as an English tutor at USF, and is excited about her position on the Paw Print staff. When she isn’t writing or editing, Kayla loves participating in theatre. An imaginative and adventurous spirit, she loves storytelling and the creative use of words and language.
Nick Litavec – Assistant Editor/Public Relations Director
Nick is currently a Junior studying Biology in the hopes of becoming a medical doctor. He enjoys camping and raising his pet fern, Willard. Born in Hammond Indiana, he lives in Valparaiso. Nick loves all things biology and science, but he does have a spiritual side. He’s also a huge film lover.
Nicole Satalino – Business Manager
A Sophomore majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing, Nicole enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves to learn new things and is most passionate about helping others and serving her community. She is very excited about joining the Paw Print newspaper staff.
Emily Thornburg – Art Director
A Senior at the University of Saint Francis, Emily is majoring in Communication Art and Graphic Design with concentrations in Computer Art and Photography. With an eye for design, Emily has a great deal of freelance experience and is thrilled to be assisting the Paw Print Student Newspaper this year.
Kayla Ellis – Art Director
Currently, Kayla is a Junior majoring in Communication Arts and Graphic Design with a concentration in Computer Arts and Web Design. As a developing graphic artist, she is always trying to create an effective and aesthetic design. Outside of her designing life, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, Khaleesi and Loki.
